Welcome to Owls class.

Please find below information about our learning for this Term. Our exciting theme is Charlie Cook's Favourite Book. We will be finding out about traditional tales, as well as our own favourite books. 

The first few weeks of term are about settling in for our new reception children, as well as finding out where we are in our learning to enable staff to plan for children's next steps. New information will be added to this page once the children are settled about how to support phonics, reading, writing and mark making as well as maths. 

Please help your child by checking their Link Books everyday for messages, sharing a story or a school reading book at least three times a week, but ideally every day! Ensure your child goes to bed early enough so they they are well rested and able to enjoy and participate in learning. It is also important to ensure your child arrives at school, and is collected promptly.
