AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS - EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
We believe that extra-curricular activities can develop many skills and enrich children's learning. We pride ourselves that a very high percentage of children join in with the provision that is available. Many of the opportunities offered are for junior aged children but where possible younger children are invited to take part too
Please check the website reguarly for details of our clubs. Parents are informed by letter and permission slips are obtained in order that a child may attend any of these clubs. Some clubs will carry a small contribution but where possible we offer clubs for free.
The following clubs run at various times throughout the year including
Football, netball, digital photography, nature, choir, country dancing, multi-sports, Games Club and the Kidzclub.
Please see below for this term's clubs:-

Singing is a very important part of the education that children receive. This is celebrated in the annual Christmas concert and carol service. Our music co-ordinator Catharine Downes also offers piano lessons which should be organised with her directly.
Many musical instrments are available for the children to learn. These include violins, recorders, flute, clarinet, cornets, trumpets and piano. We are delighted to offer so much variety and the work of our musicians is celebrated in an annual summer concert.
We also have a peripatectic brass teacher, Mrs Tracey Gwynne and a peripatetic violin teacher, Mrs Whistance.
