We are very fortunate to have a nursery as part of our Early Years provision which caters for pre-school children from 2 years of age. The nursery is open Monday - Friday between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm.
The structured nursery programme provides an ideal start for children. Their curriculum relates directly to the National Early Learning Goals wich ties in with with the Reception class next door in our Early Years block. The nursery and Reception class share an outdoor play area and enjoy regular "Forest School" experiences.
Robins Nursery is available to all pre-school chidren, regardless of whether they will be attending Lydbrook Primary School.
The children at Robins are very much part of the school and along with its own resources are able to access the school's facilities such as the hall, playground and school field. In the summer term the nursery join with the school children for family assembly and eat lunch with the older children in the dining hall.
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours funding of nursery provision, with an additional 15 hours available to elibigle families In addtion some 2 year olds are also eligible for funding. Please click on the funding page for more information.
Unfortunately, although we are open all day we are not able to provide lunches for our children. All children must bring their own packed lunch.
