MENTAL HEALTH WEEK 2019

In the week of the 4th February, 2019, Lydbrook School took part in the national ‘Mental Health Week’. The theme this year was ‘Healthy: Inside and Out’, and the focus was on the importance of keeping both our minds and bodies healthy.

The week was started by each child completing a questionnaire asking how confident they knew what the term ‘mental wellbeing’ was, on a scale of 1-10.

Do you know what health and well-being means?

1 = not at all  ----------    5 = I know what it means

There was also a whole school assembly which introduced the Mental Health Week, as well as informing the children what activities they would be completing during the week.

Each activity was linked to the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’, which the children had previously been introduced to.
