During the Autumn term, each class enjoyed a 6 week course of Yoga sessions. The lessons were lead by Kate Ingleby-Lewis who is a qualified Yoga teacher. There was also an after-school club for those Key Stage 2 children who wanted to put their skills from the lessons into practice.
Emotional Wellbeing
These yoga sessions not only improved the children’s physical health, but also their emotional wellbeing too. They enjoyed high intensity work outs, as well as calm meditative approaches, which the children greatly benefited from.
