Note: Have your brain, pencil and paper ready - you may find the levels easier to begin with but they will quickly get harder as you progress!

Daily 10 is a primary maths resource which covers key number skills including addition, subtraction, ordering, partitioning, digit values (place value), rounding, multiplication, division, doubles, halves and fractions. 

Use the menu to select your level (choose your level, but as a guide Level 5 and 6 are the most suitable for Hawks) and which area of maths you would like your 10 questions to be about (e.g. fractions).  For an extra level of challenge, you can select for your questions to be timed!  

Write your answers on a piece of paper – you will be given the answers at the end so that you can mark your own work.

Times Table Rock Stars

This is an excellent resource for practising times tables and related division facts. We ask that children play for a short bursts three times per week to support their recall of multiplication and division facts.

  • Synonyms = similar meaning

(E.g. happy and joyful)

  • Antonyms = opposite meaning

(E.g. happy and sad)

  • Homophones = words that sound the same but have different meanings and spellings
